If only the Project Management Graduate Certificate is pursued, Eng Mgt 5320 will be required. If Eng Mgt 5210 or an equivalent was taken at the undergraduate or graduate level, then Sys Eng 6102 can be substituted for Eng Mgt 5210. 

If Eng Mgt 5320 was previously taken as part of the Engineering Management Graduate Certificate or the Masters of Science in Engineering Management (required for both), than Sys Eng 6102 will substitute for Eng Mgt 5320 in the Project Management Graduate Certificate.

Admission Requirements

If you have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a physical science and meet the following criteria, you’re ready to apply:

  • Completed: Calculus I, II, III; Differential Equations or Linear Algebra; Statistics; Physics or Chemistry
  • Engineering Economy course (can be taken during the program if needed)
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 for graduate certificates; 3.00 for the master’s degree
  • No letters of recommendation required
