The MCAT Accelerator at Missouri S&T is an intensive, multi-day bootcamp designed to prepare students for the MCAT.  The course uses a consistent daily structure to build testing stamina, mimicking real MCAT conditions with photo ID check-ins and secure belongings storage.

  • Day 1: Initial Assessment
    • Students complete instructor-written, MCAT-style baseline exams for all four sections.
    • Results are used to identify individual knowledge gaps and shape the focus of the remaining curriculum.
  • Day 2: Assessment Review & Skill Building
    • Students receive their initial section scores.
    • Instructors introduce target skills, administer targeted practice sets, and review high-yield content and common test traps.
    • Students receive their total overall baseline scores at the end of the day.
  • Days 3 to 11: Core Drills and Skills
    • Progressively structured days dedicated to mastery.
    • Each block balances timed practice question sets with comprehensive instructional reviews.
    • Instruction time expands in later days to accommodate deeper content dives.
  • Day 12: Final Assessment
    • Students complete a second full round of instructor-written, MCAT-style exams.
    • This session directly measures progress against the Day 1 baseline.
  • Day 13: Review and Wrap-Up
    • Students receive final scores to pinpoint any remaining knowledge gaps.
    • The program concludes with an overall debrief and an instructional feedback survey.
